Excessive sweating treatment

Excessive sweating treatment aims at reducing the unreasonable amount of sweating problems via Botox injections. People consider treatment when they deal with excessive sweating problems affecting their daily lives and causing social embarrassment after failure of conservative treatments and over the counter deodorants and anti-perspirants aids. 

The procedure can be performed without anesthesia or by pre-treating the area to be injected with an anesthetic cream. During the procedure, small doses of Botox will be injected to the underarm skin causing temporary block of the nerve responsible for stimulating the sweat glands.

Although there are no significant complications from excessive sweating treatment, some of the possible complications related to this procedure include bruising, infections, allergies, and changes in sensation. 

The results will appear in 10 days and improvements in symptoms will last from 4 to 6 months.
